Have you given any thought to your day to day activities? I was listening to the Alpha Networker this morning and it struck a deep cord of understanding about balance.
A daily routine is a great thing but it does need review regularly. If you are feeling stagnant and lost this is the indicator that you need to do a review of your daily routine. Acknowledgment is the permission to be dissatisfied. AKA: it means that you need to grow.
Would you leave a plant with dying parts when all it needs is a bit of pruining? What would you do to revive it? If you took care of it every day and be aware of the little things that need to be done to help it grow would you do it?
Water yourself with things that revive fun. Prune the dead things that make you unhappy. Once and a while add new soil (yes this mean maybe gettin’ a bit dirty and stirring up the family mud). Weed the negative thoughts from your mind. If your in a pot and your roots have outgrown where you live, look, see what you can do to replant yourself in a place that will allow you to flourish.
Everyday. Each and Everyday. A few minutes of water, weed and watch. I am sure you would have a beautiful planted life that blooms if you take the necessary steps that you NEED to do to make it happen.
How do you do this? By striving to become the opposite part of you. If you are weak in math and high in creativity then spending some time working in math will develop a better understanding of the abilities in what you can learn about yourself as the subject. It will help you develop more neuron connections that help create the ability to be more flexible in how you think. When you decide to thrive in the area you are most weak it will strengthen your resolve for power within yourself. You may just surprise your self.
Don’t get me wrong when I say to work on your weaknesses and spend all your time thinking about the things you can’t do. I mean explore the other side of you that is weak (fear/negative opinions ) and value the balance that you can create by setting the standard of being able to value yourself as a whole person.
Finding the middle is actually finding the your inner core strength. When you are able to understand both sides of yourself and create deeper roots this allows you to be more in with the nature of being, creating, leading and sharing the ability of swaying in the winds of change.
When a strong wind of change like what we are experiencing now begets the biggest opportunity to grow and flourish. You must realize while others are allowing the growth of weeds choke the living creativity within we MUST chose to be the gardener of balance and leadership.
You decide to take hold of those pruning shears and just get started, get digging, do weeding but most importantly review your daily routine to eradicate those things that are not helping you grow.
